What a shame they didn't mention that if a debt collector calls your neighbors in an effort to get to you, you can sue them for sharing personal information with a third outside party.

Well, I must say this video clears out a lot of confusions among individuals regarding debt collections and offers a lot of helpful tips to evade Collectors, but there is a lot of misinformation in there too! For example, why did the guy in the video advise people not to promise a payment, no matter what? He didn't say why. but it's due to the fact that once you promise to pay "verbally" the statute of limitations starts all over again on your acount and makes you liable to pay it off.

I wish one of them would call me. I would just ask them for thier physical locations so I could send the payment via Fedex. I would be there the next day with my pistol to clean things up. Not to kill them but to scare the shit out of them.
