I'd like to hear more. Most medicines are poison. My doctor said to alternate between Tylenol (acetominophen) and Ibuprofen. I try not to take them, but lately I've had to take more than my fair share (which probably should be half of the daily warning limits).

tylenol is poison for the liver. My doctor says never take tylenol ever during treatment

Thanks, if you need any support, I will be here for you. Best of luck!

I've been watching your video in prep for starting my own pegasys treatment...in two weeks...you've help alot!! Thanks..I'm not waiting...

Sorry for the delayed response. The medicine is working well, however there are ups and downs, but mostly because of circumstances outside the medicinal realm. Thanks for watching!

Lab tests have been showing no detectable viral load since the fourth week, and my doctor said it looks like I'll be a success. Others have tried and failed - I should be so lucky. Thanks!

I think tonight begins my 21st week of injections. You're not too far behind. I know I'm in it for the long haul. Thanks for the great advice about staying positive. It's so difficult though when other people make your life a living hell - I really think I need devine intervention to provide me relief.

first injection is the worst, I thought I will not make it through the night...but now I am 14 weeks from then and feel better then before the treatment. Its important to stay positive and not to think a lot what hurts. its either you kill the bitch or it will.(I mean the virus:)

unfortunately there is no way of cutting down on your treatment of 48 weeks...your viral load will go back up maybe more then before. I am in my 4th month as well and I feel great, surprisingly better then before the treatment. It's all in you head, phycological. Dont think that you have side effects and it helps, trust me. Take Tylenol, go to sleep...stay positive!

I'm in my fourth month and I seem to be doing okay, except anemia, fatigue, joint pain and eye and brain strain. I still swim but not as much. The 12-week lab test says I no longer have a detectable virus load. I hope this could mean that I can cut my treatment way short of the 1 year plan.

Hope your treatment is working well for you. How have you been feeling?

Try liquid vitamins and high energy foods. I was told not to use vitamins but the liquid vitamins are okay and seem to help. Brain food. Also, drink plenty of fluids. Green Tea. I still encourage low fat and go for lots of fruits, vegetables, all of your food groups, whole grains, etc.

We live in the South and "low fat" is hard to do. He is feeling a lot better this week. he does have to continue working as a contruction worker!!! Which is so hard!! He can't get disability so he has to work. We are trying to make him eat well, but it is hard. Thank you for your prayers!!! Everyone pray for my father.

I recall my first day was difficult too and mostly I had a bad headache and flu like symptoms. Nowadays I'm mostly fatigued and have a bit of eye strain. Your dad may want to adjust his diet to low fat, to include healthy foods and juices, if he hasn't already, plus drink plenty of fluids every day. I wish him well and include him in my prayers.

My father just started treatment and the first day was so hard!!!!! He can't sleep and he is in a lot of pain. I hope your treatment goes well.

Hep C sucks. Good luck to you. Hope the treatment goes well.

Thanks, Gaby, there are ups and downs but mostly fatigue. - Bill

I cannot imagine the hard thing that it should be to have that treatment. I hope everything goes him well! Gaby.

Thanks, the worse so far is fatigue but a little rest helps some.

I have a friend who is doing well with the interferon, things are derfinately looking good for him..You have my regards! :)

Of course,I speak for desertjournalonline from my other channel. Oops!

Only do it once a week, plus take six pills daily. There is a 50/50 chance of killing Hep C virus, to prevent further liver damage. Also, I do this video solely to relieve others facing treatment from anxiety of self injection. I by no means am a needle freak and this is the only one I'll do like this. Thanks for watching.

Can't imagine to have to do that all the time. At least it keeps you going good. :) Wow, that is a lot of money.. Wendy

Thank goodness I pay only $6 a month for this medicine! My insurance pays the rest, thanks to Governor Bill Richardson's and New Mexico's state coverage plan. Otherwise, I couldn't possibly do it.

gees, that's really expensive. but keeping you alive is priceless! =)
