Byrd for president 2012?

The issue is whether or not this man is still capable of fulfilling his duties at a United States Senator. If this video is not clear proof of his inability to serve I do not know what would be. It would be in the best interests of the people that he represents to step aside.

My opinion Senator Byrd has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WORD "LIBERAL". He STANDS for AMERICA & he stands for what is right. When the "war" w/ Iraq was being so quickly pushed through Congress, Senator Byrd was the one who said "WAIT. Don't rush this".

I am from West Virginia and I am ashamed of Sen. Byrds performance in the past few years and i think he shouldn't run for re-election in 2012. I think if West Virginians would pay attenetion to things like this, they wouldn't vote for him. I think he is a liberal representing a conservative state, only getting by with the name "Byrd". Same thng goes to Sen. Rockefeller. Both should step down. Byrd has been in the senate for almost 50 years. Rockefeller has been in for over 20 years.
