New book by Barbara McQueen and Marshall Terrill available from Dalton Watson Fine Books.
The 240-page book, priced at $95, is a special limited edition run of 2,000 and is signed by Barbara McQueen and her co-author, Marshall Terrill. The limited editions includes a slipcase and a 45-minute compact disc of the superstar going over script notes as he prepares to film Tom Horn.
The photo book contains approximately 150 pictures documenting Barbara McQueen's three-and-a-half year relationship with the movie icon, which includes candid shots from 1977 to 1980 -- McQueen's years out of the spotlight. It chronicles Barbara's early history and modeling career; her years with McQueen at Trancas Beach and Santa Paula as well as behind-the-scene photos on the sets of Tom Horn and The Hunter.
Update: Following appearance on the David Letterman show on March 13th by Barbara McQueen, a regular hardbound edition of the book has been released without CD or signature plate for US49 by Dalton Watson Fine Books.

wtf? could u turn the pages a bit slower?
Not a very good actor, but a great reactor. His almost feline-looking face photoed well and the baby blues were his calling card. Check out JUNIOR BONNER one of his best and least known perfs. Shoulda starred in 1978's THE DRIVER. It'd been written for him. And shoulda grabbed the Redford role in A BRIDGE TOO FAR when they offered it to him. But that was McQ. Didn't like the movie biz but loved the perks of being a superstar.
er yeah thanks for that. Loved the coughing in the background, real classy!
$95.00?! for a book?! hell no! he was a good actor but come on.
good thinking man ;)
What I get from this video is, "If you ever cared about Steve McQueen, don't bother with this book. Because here is a little flip through....and you won't get much more from it even if you did shell our 60-70 bucks."
Would have made a lot better if there was some voice over giving at least basic details !
sure loved his movies.
nice advert, but a few too many of Minty herself in there.
I think that's the point. The video was posted by the publisher.
One of the lucky 2000, eh? Wish I had this, but can't afford it. Thanks for the glimpse. Take your time next time for those of us who might never get to view these wonderful photos!
Correct. This was his last wife and her archive of photos has now been published
who is barbara? love mcqueen , is this his last wife?
