i love the new cut on you it looks so much better i thing it looks sexy i love bobs keep it up your very nice for doing that!!

I would SO cut my hair for this cause, unfortunately, I already have the bob, so I'll have to wait ;)

So, you completely turn your check to lol? It is a crap organization that does not help children in need? Is this what you are saying? Because the Better Buisness Bureau, and all postings of all proceeds and income are publicly known... Since when does a child have to be on their death bed to need something? Simply, I disagree.

There are many restrictions on who receives it i.e. income, age... they are one organization still growing and can not help every single person. Just as you are one person; you can not help everyone, without the help of others and even then, not everyone.

It is MUCH easier to get a hair donation when one is mislead in believing that it's helping a child with cancer who MAY be dieing. Kids with aploecia my be embarrased, but they are in NO DANGER of dieing from it. Just the truth! Then let a person give if they wish. HEY, they may even get to see their hair again on some little old lady coming out of the wig shop.

Just one problem valeriea, they have turned down at least 2 cancer kids that I'm aware of, and again, nothing wrong with the cause of alopecia, BUT the salons need to stop misleading good hearted people.

Let me remind you that Locks of Love only gives to children in NEED of hair; they are very explicit on their applications to insure this. The cancer rate among children is much smaller than that of adults; hence, why I posted about the Young Survivors Coalition on top of Good Hair Day...Locks of Love helps children in need; if their problem area is cancer or alopecia areata, burn victims, brain tumors...the list goes on...the fact remains that you give something that can help a child in need.

Great cause,,, but what does locks of love have to do with cancer? They do NOT generally help kids with cancer, as they give on average LESS THAN 10 real hair wigs PER YEAR to kids with cancer.... Thats LESS THAN 10 PER YEAR, not per week... AND they now sell 98% of all the hair they get in... Help kids with cancer...YES... but know that giving to lol does not help kids with cancer, at least less than 10 per year don't get it...IN MY OPINION...

Yeah. The people at work LOVE it, they find it more "fitting" to my role; whatever! I'm growning it back out :)

Thanks.

haha nice haircut! You totally look like one of those tough business women you see walking around in downtown. But maybe cause your not smiling in it. Well good job, your a great sport for chopping your hair for that.

great cause and the new haircut looks good. good luck with the mission.

Oh, my dear friend, as a male you can still help! Why don't you talk to your congressmen and get "Good Hair Day" nationally recognized? It helps the young survivors of cancer...there is room for everyone here! :D P.S. So, you like the hair do ya???

whew the haircut...looks good. way to stand up for a cause! my hair is not quite long enough for the bob...

Yeah, I bet. The bob haircut looks REALLLLY super cute on you though. I'm afraid that it's not so flattering on me. Oh well, it's for a good cause.

thanks. It's a hard adjustment for me...so I have to keep reminding myself why I did it.

I've done the Locks of Love thing before when I was younger. I'm growing my hair out SUPER long so that I can do it again. Bravo to you darlin!
