The amount of cases varied considerably each year. 58,000 and 35,000 are more likely to be based on variables than 100 cases 10 years later. In 1988 there were 350,000 cases world wide. The WHO began a global eradication program. In 2007, that number was reduced to 1,310 cases.

If its a fraud, why have these diseases been eliminated? Go to Africa and see the populations that don't have vaccinations. Then see what happens when medical missions go to the villages and vaccinate the people. People have eliminated diseases in these towns by providing vaccinations. The infant mortality rate of the villages that are not vaccinated are far higher than the ones that are. So, who's "killing countless babies and children"?

If there were 58000 cases in 1952, and 35000 cases in 1953, the epidemic was obviously already declining when Salk's field trials took place. It would probably have wound down to nothing even without vaccination, which actually happened in countries where few if any vaccinations were carried out.

Some people see a link between vaccinations and satanic rituals or witchcraft, where animals are sacrificed and their organs brewed in a hellish concoction of horrid substances: voodoo medicine by 21st century mad scientists. (I kept the article) The doc told my friend to get his flu shot. My friend asked to see the ingredients. The doc gave him the packaging, told him to read it & throw it away. One of the ingredients said MERCURY! My friend kept the ingred. lisitng to show his family & refused the shot! Vaccines are a deadly scam!

do you really not understand how science works this much? science corrects itself. if a scientist lies, they're called out on it. each experiment is repeatable and when its determined that that person was lying, their career is over. this isn't the same as being wrong, which is good if you can accept you're wrong. but as far as infallible scientists, the scientific method allows for change when newer and better ideas are presented. and you're confusing governments with politicians.

In 1952, there's 58,000 cases of polio in the US (the most ever). in 1953, another 35,000. Salk's field trials take place in 1954. So, you're obviously wrong when you say the vaccine was developed during the decline, and instead during its peak. And there is no such thing as a "4th reich". Its just another conspiracy theory.

Of course...and they really have nothing to do with vaccines, seeing as how smallpox was the only disease with which we had vaccinations for. You won't see any other vaccines until the 50's (Polio), at least none that had the proper efficacy.
