Description: After 10 months (16 rounds) of chemotherapy and 20 sessions of radiation, Timothy has been cancer-free for over 4 months! His wish, that was generously granted by the Make-a-Wish Foundation, was to experience an American Le Mans Race (ALMS) in person. Make-a-Wish put together a trip that was well beyond his wildest expectations. Tim and his family would like to thank Make-a-Wish for giving Tim something to look forward to during his treatments and providing he and his family with an unforgetable experience. My father (50 years old) was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in June of 2007 and passed away in August of 2008. God Bless All Of Those Who Have Been Touched By This Rare Cancer. Search: Life Is Beautiful.

I had rhabdo when i was sixteen. i am now eighteen and in remission. i had a hard time getting into contact with anyone my age who fought this cancer, so it was amazing to hear the story of another teen beating it. congrats :]

Make a wish is an example to follow!!! But, I think it's damage: we must always a tragedy to realize our dreams... *°* Life is worth nothing but nothing beats life *°*

This is a wonderful example of what make-a-wish is. I had my wish in 2002 and did not know if I was going to make it through. I had a brain tumor and had 13 surgeries, chemo, radiation....but I won the battle against cancer! I'm survivor now and I thank foundations as Make A Wish that made my wish come true by making my whole family part of my wish. They give hope to patients to keep on going and realize that dreams DO COME TRUE ;)

your welcome! Its hard to find people that understand what its like.

Wow that is truly amazing! It's great to hear positive stories like yours! Thanks for sharing - I'm sure you are providing hope for many others.

I had a rhabdomyosacoma when I was eight years old in 1995. It was behind my eardrum in my inner ear. It was the size of a tennis ball and they could not remove it. So after 28 sessions of radio therepy and 12 months chemo I went into remission. Ive never had a relapse. Im one of the lucky ones.

Fuck You.

i wish that he could have wished his cancer away

Some people are just trolls looking to start a flame war I ignore keyboard commado's, bad opinions are like A--holes everyones got one. I just found out last week I have pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma I am 39 years old and this story gave me hope its the best news I have found sofar. Thank you for posting it. Dave

What?! How can you say that? Cancer is bad enough to battle, and rhabdomysarcoma (the type of cancer he has) is absolutely brutal and is actually pretty fatal. Imagine how you'd feel if you had a huge tumor removed? Now give me 1 reason why you hate kis like him.

???

i hate kids like this.......

my bro had make a wish when he was 5 cause they did'nt think he would live (kidney failure) He did. ;-} R.I.P. Joshua Johnson 10-17-86 to 2-14-06

Holy shit. Glad he got his wish.

God bless you Tim.

congrats tim! fantastic story and nice video. I was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma as well, and just got out of treatments 6 months ago. nice to be out huh! hope and healing, Grant

My daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor very close to where Tim's was....She was 10 mos. at the time and now at 3 years of age is cancer-free after going though a year's worth of chemo & radiation...People like her and Tim makes me want to be a better person!!!!

Rhabdomyosarcoma is terrible, I was diagnosed with it when I was young. After being told I was cancer-free, I was lost for words. I know the sickness Tim went through and it is the worst feeling ever, being sick 3 times a day through the xmas period, not nice.
