Hi! : )
Do you live where the Sun-Shines? Do you get out in it, enough? If so, your OK. If your not and get depressed, it is something to check into... I have to expect that if God put it in the Sun to give to us, it is most likely something we need in a generous portion. I have Full Spectrum Lighting in my Home and We Love It (Washington Clouds:( ) However you are a very careful person who I know would find the Best Source of Vit.D or any product offered to you to injest. Respecting Balance..
Technically, Vitamin D is classified as a "seco-steroid."
A couple thousand milligrams of vitamin D is the
equivalent to 12 minutes out in the sun per day.
Its a steroid hormone. Do I really want to take thousand of milligrams of a steroid hormone? Should I worry about masculinization, acne or other steroid effects?
Researchers recently found that those with higher levels
of vitamin D had longer telomeres. Telomeres play an essential role in maintaining the integrity of the chromosome, protecting it from degradation and from end-to-end fusion with other chromosomes.
