Zach's form of this disease was the worse case documented. He aged approximately 30 years for every year of life. The odds of the disease are 1 in every 4 million to 8 million births. You have better chance of being hit by lighting 6 times than having Progeria.

I've watched this so many times and have the biggest grin at the end because this child was and still is such an inspiration and evidently had such a strong life force that will live on forever. What a sweet souled angel. I think he has blessed not only his family, but everyone's heart as well.

Poor kid?! genetics - evolution. it's so unfortunate. But in every picture in this clip, aside from where he's sleeping with the dog, demonstrates how happy Zach was. He must have been a bowl full of joy. Bless you, parents and grandparents of Zach.

He had a disease called progeria, it means he was aging very fast.
