he is not dead, hes been given muscle relaxants in order to intubate. for those few seconds he is not breathing by himself.
the boy is not breathing! is he dead?
Boy my ass. Look at the navel and then look at the tits, then look at the long fucking hair you blind stooges!
this is awesome wish it was loger with narration.
is a boy
thats why we shoudln't share medical videos with jerks like sassy or azback!! stupid jerks!!
thanks for the video sursur!
i think its a girl you can see the roundness of the breast
That boy has female breasts : )
I'll concede that 20 seconds of apnea in a healthy patient in a controlled setting would not be detrimental to the patient... but I've also seen 20 seconds meaning the difference between a successful orotracheal intubation and a mandated cric attempt.
if you're worried about 20 seconds of apnea in a healthy non-obese non-parturient patient leading to clinically significant desaturation, you need to go back and review some basic texts.
And to those who don't know if its a girl or a boy. It helps to turn your head ;)
yep, exactly. the first thing they strained in my EMR school (Canadian equivalent of the EMT-B) is always BSI.
first thing they teach you in EMT school is BSI.. or i think its called universal precautions now... regardless of procedure, BSI / UP are always first step
i think all the commentary this video has inspired is interesting. i believe all it intends to show is how well a fiber optic camera aids endotracheal tube placement. the girl's (note prominent nipples) thorax is exposed to show preoxygenation heaving resulting from off-camera bagging. notwithstanding all that, it obviously inspires some deeply held opinions. myself, i wonder if she volunteered for this.
When they intubated my mother for surgery they busted off her front tooth with that big steel instrument. Not pretty at all.
I'm a coast Guard paramedic. She's right. We restrain them.
its a boy and second they always "put on restraints" incase the patient becomes awake and fights, trust me I work in Emerg. it procedure. Everyone in ICU starts out this way, its for their and our safety.
since this is being done , does she really need to be completely uncovered? do women in OR always end up like that eventually for all to see?
Is a young girl naked in OT is normal in surgery.
I didn't think so, I several ones without gloves.
I'm a nurse, and YES you do need gloves.
no matter what you need BSI--especially doing this
